Discover Freediving
A half-day introduction to apnea — try freediving in a safe, confined-water setting with a certified instructor.
What you'll learn
- •Relaxation and breathing basics
- •Static apnea (breath-hold at the surface)
- •Dynamic apnea (horizontal swim on one breath)
- •Buddy safety fundamentals
Prerequisites
No experience required. Must be comfortable in water and able to swim 100m.
AIDA 1 — Introduction to Freediving
Your entry-level certification. Learn the core theory, breathing, and confined-water skills of freediving.
What you'll learn
- •Freediving theory and physiology
- •Breathing techniques and relaxation
- •Static apnea — target 1:30
- •Dynamic apnea — target 30m
Prerequisites
Minimum age 16 (or 15 with parental consent). Basic swimming ability.
AIDA 2 — Freediver
Your first open-water certification. Take freediving from the pool to the sea with proper depth technique.
What you'll learn
- •Equalization techniques (Frenzel)
- •Free immersion and constant weight diving
- •Static apnea — target 2:00
- •Depth — target 16m
- •Rescue from 10m depth
Prerequisites
Minimum age 16. Swim 200m non-stop and 100m without mask, fins, or snorkel.
